We ended up here as they accepted two 12 ppl reservations an hour and a half before we showed up. We ended up having 20 and they were so accommodating and even switched around the set up to make one long table opposed to two separate ones since we had a little less than expected. Starting with that awesome service as we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised it continued into our dinner along with the friendliest waiter. He was great, very attentive, and the food came out quick (and correct for all 19 ppl)! If you're looking for a starter to share, go for the Crab & Artichoke dip! LOTS of crab and great flavor! For dinner I went with the fettuccine Alfredo which was very good. It wasn't super thick and creamy, but just right. It came with a salad, which was a generous size and the option between a caesar or house. I added the flank steak, which I know sounds weird, but ended up being a great add on as someone else got the chicken and said it was just ok and lacked flavor. The steak however was very thinly sliced and paired well with the sauce! You got complimentary bread and they had a decent selection for wine and beer. Outside of parking being a little crazy, we had a great experience and if we ever end up back here I'll be back! I'm always so good about adding pictures and my hunger forgot the best of me so apologies for no proof of the goodness!

Great place for lunch in the village. We had wonderful service and enjoyed the AC during the summer. The chicken piccata was delicious and light. The grilled chicken sandwich was enjoyed by my wife and the fries were light and perfectly fried. Nice coffee as well.

Fontina is a great little gem. Happy hour offers cheap drinks and a great selection of appetizers at a discounted price. The servers are always friendly and attentive! Their patio is in a great location it's the best for any hot summer day, a great location for after work drinks. Do not think that just because I started by saying this place is great for happy hours that it stops there, this is also a great place for your family dinner or a date or even just for yourself if you are feeling like some good pasta! I highly recommend the penne a la vodka!

Several of us (10) went here for a birthday lunch last Saturday. We had a wide variety of dishes. The pink sauce sausage rigatoni was very good, the pizzas are good (but nothing special), the salads were very good, and their appetizers were good. The server we had was very good and attentive. We were in the back of thw restaurant because of our group size. It was nice for the event. We are going to go back for dinner again and try some dinner entrees. One minor thing is that their prices and desserts are too high.

We ordered the Fettuccine Bolognese and Eggplant Parmesan off of Fontina's lunch menu for lunch takeout. The prices were $15 for the fettuccine and $17 for the other. Fettuccine bolognese was simply AMAZING. For $15, the portions were beyond generous. The meat and the sauce were spot on. The creaminess just worked. The fettuccine itself had excellent texture. The dish tasted great even after a twenty minute drive! The eggplant Parmesan was okay. The eggplant was nice and the cheese was not bad. The spaghetti and the sauce were pretty average. We're definitely going back for the fettuccine bolognese and so should you!

I've gone to Fontina Grille a few times over the past three months because I love it so much! I've always only ordered pasta for an entree, but I recently also tried their meatball appetizer and eggplant Parm. Their meatballs are super thick/solid. They're drowned in a sweet marinara sauce that tastes so fresh and tomatoey. I definitely recommend the carbonara (doesn't taste eggy at all!) and bolognese. Every entree comes with a salad or soup side, which is also super nice. I always feel like I get a mini multi-course meal (and for under $20!)

I had a good experience at Fontina Grille. I was pleasantly surprised they could make vegan food as that is rare for Italian businesses. When I walked into Fontina I was overwhelmed with the delicious smell of Italian food. The host that took me to the table was extraordinarily friendly. Our server was attentive and I was impressed with how often they came to check on the table. Service for sure was a 5 star experience. For vegan options while I am happy there was something to eat, I would not come back here for a meal unless a friend really wanted to go. The complimentary bread at the table had cheese on it. I was disappointed they could not bring any plain bread out to enjoy with olive oil. For my entree they were able to offer me a vegan house salad and a pasta dish that was modified to be vegan. The salad had an impressive amount of vegetables for a house salad. That was really nice. The pasta dish tasted really average for the high price point. There was nothing bad about it, but it did not taste like anything I could not make at home. It did not seem like the pasta was homemade, and the vegetables were just broccoli and sundried tomatoes. The sauce seemed to just be olive oil. Again, there was nothing bad about this meal, but there was also nothing memorable about it other than a high price tag for food I could make in a college dorm. I do thank this business again for having something vegan to enjoy. I think some menu improvements could be made for vegan guests. It would be nice to have a dish that warranted the high price tag on the menu.

I've been to fontina grille multiple times in the past with my last time being in 2021. From what I can remember, on those past visits I had tried fettuccine Alfredo (with grilled, blackened, and fried chicken), the carrot cake, and the meatball appetizer. The fettuccine Alfredo was pretty disappointing but was best with the grilled chicken. The carrot cake was very disappointing. The meatball appetizers were pretty good. Those were my opinions from 2 years ago and now a lot has changed. On this go around I made sure to try more than just the Alfredo. To be able to make this review I made sure to try both their pizzas, pastas, and more. I was able to try the steak pizza, bbq chicken pizza, pizza ala vodka, fontina white, penne ala vodka, chicken parmigiana, and the Brooklyn blackout cake. I made sure to get the pizzas on Wednesdays because they have a buy 1 get 1 half off on Wednesdays (carry out) and I made sure to get the pastas on Mondays because they also have a buy 1 get 1 half on Mondays (carry out). The pizza is probably the best of what they have and definitely some of the best I've had. The steak pizza was amazing and is an instant favorite for me. The bbq chicken pizza is pretty good as well but not quite as good as the steak pizza. The pizza ala vodka is pretty much a meat lovers pizza and it was solid but nothing special. The fontina white pizza was okay but I'm just not into white pizza. The pasta is decent. I had the penne Ala vodka and the chicken parmigiana. The penne ala vodka was good. The chicken parm was decent. The Brooklyn blackout was decent but smaller than expected and overpriced with the price tag of nearly 9$ for a small slice. All in all, fontina grille is very good but the pizza especially the steak pizza is where they knock it out the park. I would definitely recommend and return whenever I need some amazing pizza.
